What Exactly is Clinical Hypnosis?

It is an expanded state of consciousness, guided by suggestions, that allows access to the subconscious and works from there on blocks, fears, or limiting patterns. It has nothing to do with shows or entertainment. In therapy, it becomes a powerful and transformative tool.

What Challenges Do We Address with Clinical Hypnosis?

Clinical hypnosis is especially effective in therapeutic processes where the origin of discomfort is rooted in deep patterns. Some of the problems I usually treat with this technique include:

  • Anxiety, stress, distress, agoraphobia.
  • Phobias (insects, airplanes, driving, blood…)
  • Social phobia, fear of public speaking.
  • Depressive disorders and deep sadness.
  • Hypochondria and obsessive health worries.
  • OCD: obsessive thoughts and compulsions.
  • Insomnia, nightmares, night terrors.
  • Chronic or localized pain (back, head, stomach…)
  • Improving concentration in studies or sports.
  • Eating disorders: obesity, bulimia, anorexia.

How Does a Session Develop?

The session takes place in a quiet environment, where we perform relaxation exercises and guided visualization. Gradually, you enter a state of deep concentration without losing control or consciousness.

In this state, your mind is more receptive, and we can work with suggestions that generate positive changes, both emotional and behavioral.

It is a very pleasant and safe experience, where you will also remember everything worked on at the end.

I also offer specific clinical hypnosis sessions to quit smoking in a single session. It is based on the TUS method: a combination of suggestions, aversive exercises, and visualizations designed to help you break the habit without anxiety or relapses.
